Per Wikipedia (no AI here - away beast!) - The sandwich generation is a group of middle-aged adults who care for both their aging parents and their own children. It is not a specific generation or cohort in the sense of the Greatest Generation or the Baby boomer generation, but a phenomenon that can affect anyone whose parents and children need support at the same time.

Most of our clients in the Estate Planning, Probate Avoidance, "what to do when . . " areas are those taking care of kids, some with special needs who would benefit from Guardianships and/or Conservatorships, or who may need a Temporary Guardianship over Minor when travelling overseas for example. Most of them are also preparing to care for, or actively doing so, the parents that took care of them and who may be experiencing one of the many physical or mental health situations that arise in later years.
